About the event
Bring your stories to life—one frame at a time! In this hands-on class, students learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling: brainstorming a plot, sketching a simple storyboard, planning scenes and shots, and thinking about camera angles, lighting, and timing. We’ll show how frames-per-second affects motion, why a steady camera matters, and how to use props (LEGO, clay, paper) to make characters and sets pop.
Then it’s create time: using Stop Motion Studio on our provided tablets, students animate their own mini-movie with titles, sound effects, and credits. Kids can work solo or team up, and everyone leaves with a finished video file (and a shareable link) so they can premiere their masterpiece at home.
